Some One To Save Us Poem by Byantuyo Rahim

Some One To Save Us

Do you remember Skyle Railey? I mean the one from Smile 2. It's weird how her film's song relates to life, right? It's like I feel it was sung for us, the souls that are living equations. The way she says it—we are out of our minds, and the problem is always ours.

We give in so much—the affection we offer is like a whole ocean, where plants sprout from love. We give our whole realm, only meant for us, and we end up wrecked, moving around in times when our hearts are shattered. We're left with remnants of what we once called love, moving in the dark abyss of the present.

We whimper and shiver, and it feels like ants are moving within our bones. It's as if we were sacrificed—perhaps it's the price we pay for loving too much. For all the times we drown, we wail, we cry. Maybe someday, we shall have someone to save us.
