Some of Us – Echoed
It seems some of us live in denial of love,
For true love stays unnoticed that sits on our face,
Most folks recognize love only when it is leaving,
The calendar dings when it’s time to start grieving.
To seek happiness only is flaw of the heart,
And the love you are missing perhaps you reject,
For deep feelings are frequently balanced with tears,
And vast salt water oceans mark love through the years.
I think darkness is joke and possession’s a scam
Do you wish to hunt love and kill feeling my friend?
For the love of God’s all that’s immortal it seems.
Wow! How lucky we are then that we’re in His dreams.
