Soliloquy With My True Self Poem by Mystic Qalandar

Soliloquy With My True Self

My True Self whispers in the silence:
Speak not of the ache…
Keep it secret…
Speak not of the fire…
Keep it sacred…

Sing not of the wounds that weep,
the bruises tender on your soul—
Hold them close…
Show no traveler your scars,
Sail your tempest-river alone…
Keep it secret…

Tell not the world how you seek me,
soft as moonlight, fierce as tide—
Keep it sacred…
Let me trace the hollows
where you need my light,
and the crossroads
where you need my hand
to lead you to the well of truth…

Whisper the wars within your mind,
that I may arm you,
or stand beside you…
Keep it secret…
Confess the storms that shake your bones,
that I may anchor you…
Keep it sacred…

Lay your burdens at my feet.
I will show you
which to surrender to the wind,
and which I will bear with you.
Rewrite your sorrows into hymns.
Let your spirit root deep and rise.
Walk your path
with eyes alight and unafraid…

Tell me where the hurt resides,
that I may love you
in the tongue of your longing,
that you may learn
to dance in step with me…
Keep it sacred…
Keep it secret…
Keep it whole…

Here, in the hush where only we breathe,
in the sanctuary of your heart,
all things are whispered…
all things are kept…
all things are holy…

Keep it secret…
Keep it sacred…
Keep it whole…
And breathe
the divine breath
Hu! Hu! Hu! …
