Soldiers Delight
If only someone
jumped like this
on to me
I would for all my life
have remained straight
standing
as I do always
come someone
make me brave
standing through
life's midway
Now I stand only
half way
let me shoulder
your weight and prove
to be brave
as a soldiers
shoulders
may come half way
I will run towards
your pathway
can you help me
to thy soul save!
