Everyday I see your golden rays.
Admiration of your colors escapes my lips.
Your sunshine warms my face at day.
What's coming? The Solar Eclipse!
The moon sneaks a pass between the Earth and you.
Blocking our view as she makes her round trip.
Her shadow confuses the animals, yet the sky is still blue.
Today, I am witnessing a solar eclipse.
Jealous is the moon as she wants to be noticed.
I quench my thirst for water by taking a few sips.
This rare event is quite the opposite of ghostless.
Today, I am appreciating this solar eclipse.
My location makes the moon partial in view.
She stays for awhile, then slowly away--she skips.
Beautiful is this event--now it is time to bid adieu.
Until next time, Solar Eclipse!

Animals get scared on solar eclipse because it upsets their body-clock, when ‘night' dawns during day. But man discerns. Still there are millions of superstitions woven around it
