You refer to a RELIGIOUS element in this poem, and I agree, but it's not something that I can point to and quote. It's the atmosphere that surrounds the words rather the words themselves. There is a strong contrast between the tone of the section on our earth environment with all of its upheavals and constant change AND the calm certainty of the speaker's appeal to the sun to shine softly over all of this turmoil. There is both a frank realization of turmoil in this poem and also a confidence that there is some higher realm of calm which harmonizes things. It's hard to put this in words. Your poem instinctively found the right words. Commentary like mine is hardly needed to convey its truth.
