Where did you go,
Your neither here, nor there,
Was it something I said, did wrong,
A foolish wreck,
Without your presence, to soothe such a fear, without you here,
i'm left here, forlorn, tossing, turning,
Sleep comes so hard for the eyes that long to see you before they close for the night,
Are my prayers appropiate if they only ask for you,
Single reason to believe in faith,
Bending knees that have begun to ache,
To stare back at you as you save me from me,
To lay my head against your shoulder,
As you, yourself,
Become heaven, an endless dream as my eyes have become weary,
I cling so tightly because I don't want to wake up and find my reality a dream,
Where did you go,
I searched my dreams everywhere,
I asked my pillow, even checked under the comforter,
To only find there was no comfort,
No reply to the answer I was seeking
