Socratic - Assumption Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Socratic - Assumption

Plato proceeds
from the Socratic
assumption that
the unexamined
life is not worth living.

The person who
never reflects
on what he or she ought
to be doing to lead
a good life worthy
of human beings
is not living a life
that is worth living.
