Socrates Once Stated...
Socrates once stated that it's better
To be a dissatisfied human being
Than a contented pig. I'm not certain
He was right about this. Sometimes it seems
Infinitely more rewarding to slob
About like an ignorant, selfish pig,
Than coldly contemplate the meaning of
Life, the universe and everything in it.
Nicely penned Dominic nicely put food for thought indeed.I guess it human ying and yang nature at work. Everybodys different and thank heavens for that It would be awful if we were of a hive mentality, but then again looking around certain Invasion Of The Bodysnatchers Pod People neighbourhoods... A great thinking poem to enjoy.10++ and added to my favs. Thanks Dominic and I will view/rate your other poems tonight.

Thanks Shaun...my poem is certainly very tongue in cheek...I agree with you about' The Invasion of The Body Snatchers' and all that.
