Wow how 'bout them sexy socks
Wonder what he'll wear tomorrow
Maybe Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse
Or maybe Goofy and Daffy Duck
That Tasmanian Devil loves
Popeye and Olive and Bluto
Putin and Donald and Castro
Batman Superman and Robin
Justin The Road Runner
Gunner for Bugs Bunny
Masked Crusader for Zero
Like there is no tomorrow
So, Mister Prime Minister
Meditating on your socks
Sock it to the perpetrators
Of hate prejudice and sick greed
This reminds me of Laugh-in. There were a lot of jokes, some sublime humour coupled with obvious laughs. But underneath there were real social and economic and political issues that were being exposed and highlighted. Great work, Richard.
I watched it faithfully. In total agreement with you. Another favourite was The Smother Brothers. What a concept! And what talent!
