The Social Media can work both ways. Either it can enhance the status of a person or it can completely lead to misunderstanding and spoil a relationship. We all need to be careful and draw a 'lakshmana rekha' with the social media.........I understand, Rajnish ji.......10

Yes, we need to be very cautious before putting across our opinions. It should not hurt anybody. Thanks for sharing your thoughtful views.

I have had just that experience also. People I thought were friends were not so. They just disappeared from the radar. My time on Facebook was good for a while, but became unpleasant. So much so that I left never to return. You present the downside to social media well, using a term 'WhatsApp'-a mystery to me.

Thanks for sharing your experience here. I too was on Facebook for quite sometime but had to quit on account of similar circumstances.

Not familiar with WhatsApp? This is very popular in India.... even more popular than Facebook. Anyone can use it for sharing messages, photos or small videos free of cost with the help of a cell phone.

My main problem on Facebook was with a nasty, anonymous hacker. He had it in for me. I am interested in 'WhatsApp? ', and I know a shopkeeper who could help me with that.

This malaise is called intolerance. Too much agreement leads to nowhere. There have to be some healthy differences, unless we want to be a land of copy cats. Well said, dear RM..

Thank you so much, Aniruddha ji. You have put across the reality in the right perspective. I also agree with your words 'Too much agreement leads to nowhere.' Despite no agreement or little agreement on contentious issues, they continue to be discussed, debated or negotiated by leaders at various fora of the world.

Social Media is playing a vital role in the present society. It can change the status of friends into foes or vice versa. A brilliant poem is well executed which says much about demonetization announced by govt. in November 2016. Thank you dear Manga ji for sharing this poem with us.

This is so sad when a friend does unfriendly activities. Change status of friends into foes provoke thought. A social poem is amazingly penned...10
