So What? Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

So What?

"So What? "

I work all day to bring food to the table,
make my wife and kids comfortable
I work night shift,
even work on a night ship.
But, when i think it's all going to end,
when i say goodbye to my friend
I ask myself what all this is in aid of
All this pain when i work my butt off
I come to the "So What? " Moment
The "So What? " question. My torment

I even try to be nice
Offer a drink with ice
and be-friend all the people i meet
Everywhere i go on the street
The feeling i get is the same
The feeling of playing the same game It's the same "So What? " moment
The "So What? " question. My torment.

Lol. I am learning to write every day when i read other peoples poems and comment and suggest another way of interpreting the poem...even suggest a little rhyme inspired by someone else poem. If i irritate any one i apologise....but i will continue till i die till i die till i die..cause i think thats what this site is for. Isnt Uncle Dee. What do you think Bob?
