So I To You Poem by Felix Otiende

So I To You

Missing You

I have lived as a fool for long now
Only the wise can see my grief
Yes! The reality of a cut-glass
Am missing you my queen

Our world couldn't allow us to be
I fought a losing battle
I swore not to give up
If Remeo and Juliette died for love, so be it for me

Am nobody yet you believed in my faded dreams
You were always ready to lay your life for me
Today the level of loneliness is killing me
I would rather die besides you peacefully than be slave to loneliness

I am yet to see what can torment and waste a look than love
You are precious and special to me
I stare at your picture daily, hoping miraculously you will appear
Yes! I know you miss me, so am I to you
