So Far Away By Gio Masserati

So Far Away
Some how, some way
You became so far- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -away
I really don't know what I'm doing
I've been flying by the seat of my stylishly ripped denim jeans

All I know is I feel you may give up hope
I'm starting to think this is all a fantasy
Which is fine and all, but not my call
Reality is where I want to be
I feel like I'm being delusional
Our made up world
Of make believe
Or my alone made up world
Which makes it even more bleak
What's the difference
You may tell me

All I know
I've said to you
I wanted my love to shine through for you
In you - - delivered on a finely crafted porcelain dish
That only king or prince or knight would relish
In hearts delight
No ordinary man would do
Only you-for you-I'm true

My phone's a dead ringer
There are no poems
Nor even scarlet letter in my name
A drip-a drop-of an ice cream pop
Is all I want to share
With you my love
Should I dare to go there
Heart's thirst to bare
I surely think I've lost my way
So here's this poem to say, 'Hey! '
I'll keep waiting one more day.....................
But I feel so sad: -(.................so far- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -away from you

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Carole King has some great timeless Songs and Lyrics
'So Far Away' is a song written by Carole King and appeared on her 1971 album Tapestry. The recording features James Taylor on acoustic guitar. In the 1995 album Tapestry Revisited, it was covered by Rod Stewart.
The lyrics express longing for a lover who is far away. But Allmusic critic Bill Janovitz notes that while the lyrics start by focusing on the physical distance between the lovers, the lyrics use that as a jumping off point to explore emotional distance between lovers as well. Rolling Stone stated King's 'warm, earnest singing' on the song brought out the song's sadness.
