So Beautiful (Aft. Simon Armitage) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

So Beautiful (Aft. Simon Armitage)

Rating: 5.0

You're so beautiful because you said hello
I am ugly for I don't know when to stop lovin' you
You're so beautiful when you are angry
Because I said I am too ugly for you
And I don't know why you have
A great patience with me-- I would leave
Once, you held the door
But, in turn, I yelled at you
The feminist in me thought it was rude
However, felt like a heel when
I dropped the packages, breaking them
So beautiful, you forgave me
As I cried my eyes out
I can say many things about how beautiful you are
Because long ago, I was told I was ugly
And being a piece of sh*t
However, you gave me the confidence to write this poem
And I want to say I love you
Before my notebook runs out of space
