Snow-covered tree

Inspired by the snow-covered tree in the middle of the park she decided to write,
Clearly she missed him there was no doubt,
Eagerly and patiently she had seen all the seasons, waiting for him in vain,
Contemplating every single day in her wheelchair next to her bedroom window,
Ohh, the tears that rolled from her eyes whenever she looked out!
Virtuous, that's the woman she knew she was,
Each and every single day she had toiled to be a good wife before the accident,
'Rats desert a sinking ship, ' she thought out loud,
East or west, home is the best, she remembered so she started,
'Dearly beloved, if you left because of my sorry state,
The tree in the park lost its green as well because of the winter and the snow but,
Remember, seasons come and go so I'm also going to be ok,
Everything has got both a start and end I can already stand on my own,
Eagerly and patiently my love, I'm awaiting your return.
