Snow Poem by Thomas Plotz

Snow

Rain, as soft falling snow
Melting on touchdown
Covering this town,

Insulating hush, damping sound
Slowly watching, snow coming down,

It's the fifth time this April, snow has fallen
Winter slow surrender, all running into spring,

Maybe I should run out, to catch a snowflake
On my tongue
For I don't know when I'll see the next - snow shower sung
