Snakes Are People Too Poem by Hebert Logerie

Snakes Are People Too

I mean real snakes
I am not talking about the fakes
I am talking about the real ones
The ones that belong in the dungeons
The ones that are slick and sick
The ones that you cannot pick
From a line up, because they know
How to blend with the flow
They know how to double
And how to cause big trouble
Without being noticed
These salesmen are like snakes
They sly and slither like the fakes
Whose names are omitted from the lists
They are professional sweat talkers
Great liars and pathological snatchers.
