Snake Wrapping



She wrapped herself around her prey
Squeezing all the life away
And when she ate, she fell asleep
Digesting all that she could eat
Her once sleek frame was bulbous now
She'd just engulfed my neighbours cow
She slept for months with indigestion
Her hunger now, was not the question
