Belle, this poem of yours, which I enjoyed, came up when I was checking up on Smoky, one of the few poets I follow in PH. I see he has posted since this poem of yours. I'm glad, and I guess you are too. -Glen
I enjoyed this for its clean rhyming and because I agree that PH cannot tolerate the loss of Cowboy---5 star agreement
Nor of Smoky, either, but Smoky is now back and Cowboy has ridden off into the sunset.
A thoughtful poem so beautifully and tenderly expressed. Great rhyme.
