Smart Phone Poem by Nageswara Rao Ravella

Smart Phone

Ubiquitous psychic network, I am.
Treasure trove of brains, I am.
Bond's espionage,
The Joker's anarchy,
Spiderman's superpowers,
Markgunderson's intelligence and instincts,
The Godfather's enigmatic patriarchy,
Harry potter's wizardry,
Ripley's chameleon-like ability,
An elderly nanny, Mrs. Doubt fire's eliciting of tears and laughter,
Ellen Ripley's determination and intelligence,
Are the elements, I embody.
Doraemon's optimism of technology and humanity,
Indiana Jone's spirit of adventure and quest for knowledge, Godzilla's fighting, unsurrendering nature,
Gandalf's impartiality, experience, kindness and affection,
Cinderella's loving nature and troubles,
Barbie's intelligence and help
Are the traits, I personify.
Schedule destroyer, ultimate freedom;
Trust builder, toddler's teddy bear;
Put on hold, adult's transitional subject, I am.
Two in one non human I am: Good servant and bad master; Bad servant and good master.
Buzz, twitch, a text, voice, e-mail, life line, birthday screamer and what not.
I see everything.
I hear everything.
I am the voice of the Streets.
