I am encircled with small wonders
All around me
A flower, a jar, a tree, a fruit
How did it come into being
How did it reach me
Generations have passed away
Scientists and artists have made their way
Discovering wonders every day
Defining truth, reality and beauty
In their own way
Great minds have seen
Truth hidden; laws undefined
And brought to me
These things created
Created for praise, approval and love
These things of beauty all around me
Love is felt in my heart
For every wonder that I see and feel
And such is my love for The Creator
Looking at a thing through the inward eye
I may not be able to see the Creator
But His presence is felt everywhere
Such is my love for created things
These small wonders all around me
Bring me closer to Him day by day
