THE MOTHER OF PONDICHERRY
The Ashram was open to all persons,
Devotees who stayed and did yogas,
Common people with their grievances,
Casual visitors to seek Mother's blessings.
The mother answered every one with patience.
They all went back after her blessings,
On the hope, their problems were solved,
And their better days were ahead.
Many instances were reported,
And they were placed on record,
Of which a few are listed here,
To find out what a miracle they were.
A young boy of 20 lost his speech,
And no hospital could do much,
To restore his speech, but Mother
Restored it with her Divine power.
Like this TB was cured by Mother,
Besides TB, skin disease, high fever,
When sickly people came to her,
For a remedy, submitting their prayers.
A drunkard husband left his habit.
A ran away husband came back.
A dull boy cleared his degree.
A poor farmer got his due price.
If someone prays on behalf of one,
If one prays for the relief of his own,
Close touch with Mother by anyone,
An incurable disease cured by touch.
Difficulties of one turned as fortune.
For-a-no solution, one got a solution.
A chronic patient freed from disease.
An unlucky man found his treasures.
For two rivals, both received gifts.
One freed from grave punishment.
Many such miracles were seen,
When the Mother was in the scene.
When good things happen on the spot,
With no one seriously waiting for it,
They come under miracles, no doubt,
And the Mother was the root cause for it.
