THE MOTHER OF PONDICHERRY

It was believed that the Mother,
And Sri Aurobindo both were,
On this earth since its creation,
Personally to guide the evolution.

As a micro-unit of the Universe,
The Earth formed itself to house,
All kinds of countless living beings,
And millions of inanimate objects.

More than the spiritual realization,
The man's transition to Superman,
That'll change the destiny of man,
Was their sole aim to put it in action.

She was born in France,
And often fell into trance,
Right from her childhood
Which was misunderstood.

But the world understood later on,
Her spiritual nature, as a child born,
To take people in a spiritual way,
And turn this Earth in that pathway.

Her only aim in life was to discover,
The Divine inside and then surrender,
Herself to it and also to find a place,
For seekers of Divine by her grace.

Man can't seek a transformation
By his own efforts, unless sanction
Of the Divine for the same is there,
In response to his total surrender.

It was Pondicherry, the right place,
She found to start the practice,
And train people who are keen
To seek in themselves the Divine.

All the aspiring souls she collected
And lifted every one of them upward
By her spiritual energy's support,
That served them all as basic root.

Thus the Ashram became famous,
With all her spiritual activities,
And people came in large numbers,
To surrender and seek her blessings.
