Sm024. Ii Part Introduction

THE MOTHER OF PONDICHERRY

Sri Aurobindo had a vision
That India had won by then,
Its freedom from the British rule,
That was still under their control.

He took it up as his mission,
To save people from the pain,
Due to suffering and falsehood,
As a command coming from God.

A lady had similar thoughts,
Doing her divine work in Paris,
And in her meditation there came
Sri Aurobindo, as Krishna at that time.

In 1914, at Pondicherry she met him.
And to free the pain, both of them,
Started working together to dissolve
The Earth's pain and totally remove.

During the World War, she stayed
At Paris and in 1920 she returned
To India for her permanent stay,
To go ahead in a spiritual way.

The Indian Yoga was in their list,
That they took upon hand first,
To prove that body wasn't false,
But it was a base for God's Truth.

This truth in man must be liberated,
And he must be free from falsehood,
In order to abolish sufferings, poverty,
Pain in any form and also the cruelty.

For God's truth to descend down,
Even a few seekers will do then,
To perform this feat thereafter,
Before Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

Aurobindo Ashram, on this Earth,
Came to exist by this salient truth,
To eradicate sufferings, poverty
Pain, ignorance and also Cruelty.

For relief, if a man prays for Mother,
She gives it in answer to his prayer,
To establish the divine truth forever,
And to keep this Earth with no sufferer.
