THE MOTHER OF PONDICHERRY
The services done to her devotees
Are the services done to her, it means,
This statement in Mother's words,
Does it not show how liberal she is?
Thousands of devotees, who suffered,
Full relief, by her mercy, they gained,
So, her thoughts, words, and deeds,
Were like an ocean full of mercies.
Mother is above likes and dislikes,
And is concerned more about works,
Having no place for personal opinion,
Or done with one's own expectations.
The pleasure that comes out of things,
Like greed, irritation, expectations,
Vindictiveness may be a sharp one,
But it will not be a wholesome one.
If one gets promotion in office
And his colleague appreciates this,
Instead of feeling jealous of him,
It makes him feel good at that time.
Many steps for one's happiness,
She gives which one can practice,
To reach the desired goal soon,
Without disappointment to anyone.
One must drop hatred, offensiveness,
Jealousy, selfishness or any one of these,
Listen to other man's point of view,
Be punctual, regular, and orderly.
Have also faith at a higher level.
If one cultivates this attitude well,
Mother will be with him to guide
To get success in any chosen field.
One can't be compared with another,
As each one is of a different nature,
Having their own set of ideals
To suit their surrounding places.
Yet, one can make a beginning,
As, in fact, trial costs nothing,
For one to reach the goal he sets,
To achieve his desired objects.
