THE MOTHER OF PONDICHERRY

"Work is worship, " Mother says,
More than the meditation practice,
His work, with love, if he did,
That is the real enjoyment indeed, "

"After completing the entire work,
If he feels it joyful, he can take,
That it is equal to yoga done,
As he did it with full dedication."

"On the other hand, if he feels tired
After the work, it means, he finished,
With no keen interest thereon,
Like any other common man."

"Punctuality, regularity, cleanliness,
Orderliness, form the real disciplines,
To do any type of work successfully,
Helped workers reach the top really."

"Good training, higher education,
Expert's views and dedication,
If these steps in each work are taken
The result will be a remarkable one."

Before the work is taken up on hand,
If one prays to Mother, it will end
In a grand success, as she gives
More than the expected results.

Mother herself blesses her devotees,
Without waiting for their prayers,
As she is conscious of their needs
By her own high level of intuitions.

Discipline internal and external,
Must be necessary at every level,
Not from outside, but from inside,
That will yield positive results.

One following her well-laid rules,
Itself shows what discipline means,
And the more rule minded you're,
Means that you're very close to her.

So it's no wonder that her rules
Were well framed to bring devotees,
Under her disciplinary control then,
Without her close supervision.
