Slyness Of Love Poem by Gerald Opio

Slyness Of Love

Rating: 5.0

A sudden outburst of feeling
It seems at times
When it happens unexpected
Harboring thoughts of affiliation
Towards that being
You feel enchanted to

Always sly when it prevails
Stealthily taking control
Mastering its host
With a tenuous grip
Not easy to slip out of
Confining its prey

Love as it is called
It can never caution
Or schedule its coming
It just occurs
As a tempest by the ocean
More like an ambush

As the eyes get enchanted
The mind enticed sequentially
Not forgetting the heart
Which comes up with the final verdict
After several analysis
Performed by the eyes and the mind
