Perhaps the poet has been influenced by a contemporary film based on Indian society. Poet has ironically high-lighted the disgusting and shameful shot of the film to show the outer world the poverty of India. The sensitive each and every Indian film-lovers have opposed that tenacity behind the displaying of poverty of a nation by that perverted way. Reality is one thing and making business is another. Business man always try to make their profit much. My simple asking is...why not the slam dog from Brazil or some other places, why the hero want to be an Indian slam dog! We believe the exploitation, the poverty, rape of human rights are same in Brazil, India, Nicaragua, Veneguella and other such states where farmers are also compelled to commit suicide by firing themselves. So why does the hero want to be an Indian slam dog? Talking is not always permissible but sometimes it needs to combat the evil forces. Regards, pranab
