Slipping Away By The Sec Poem by Maritza Rivas

My arms spilled from the blood you're losing,
I scream and beg to you not to leave me, I cry a thousand tears for you to get better, too many stare but no one does anything,
you start breathing slower,
I get more desperate,
I beg you once more to stay,
your hand starts slipping from my neck.
never felt so scared in my life,
i kneel on the floor to take a rest, for each step i take your body gets heavier,
time seems to be running fast,
you start to close your eyes,
i scream and scream and scream for my love to stay,
your head jerked back,
my life stops.
