Loss of memory is a thing to worry. Some natural loss of memory may be a blessing in disguise. Memory is cloudy how beautifully compared.

This is exactly how I feel Savita! I was so good at spellings in my college days...! Now I struggle to spell even ordinary words! Aging and loss of memory go in tandem! You have beautifully and touchingly brought out the waning of faculties! Still we have to be thankful that we are able to accomplish so much and retain at least some things in our memory, though not all, while many in our age suffer from Alzheimer's!

A beautiful poem that captures the core of 'A cloud withdrew from sky....' Such a pragmatic draft! I have read many poems of Emily Dicknson but I had a divided attention to this poem! Memory loss especially in old age is very commonly felt! I had repeated reading of your last nine lines!
