Sleepwalking Poem by Phil Soar

Sleepwalking

I met her on the stairs last night
As I was out sleepwalking
She gave me quite the awful fright
I couldn't stop her talking
She stared at me with evil eyes
She was an apparition
Sent by the devil to taunt me
Without my gods permission
I stood there with an open mouth
Amazed at what I saw
So I kicked her down the bloody stairs
And she was there no more
