Slaughter Of The Sheep Poem by Dorsey Baker

Slaughter Of The Sheep

Weeping willow starts to weep
darkness starts to fall
and midnight
starts to creep
Slaughter of the sheep
Slaughter of the sheep

the streets are empty
but your heart
is full of fear
because you know
the day of judgment
it must be near
as you make a vow
you promise
that you will keep
Slaughter of the sheep
Slaughter of the sheep

Everybody seems to be
standing on the edge
of eternity
and its a lake of fire
that is burning
with intensity
the lake is so deep
welcoming the
Slaughter of the sheep!
