Sky Of Fireflies Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Sky Of Fireflies

Rating: 5.0

Sultry evening surprise,
the starry sky of fireflies!
Pink, shining, full moon
on rosy, Dragonfly Lagoon.
Lofty fireflies are winking,
as gold time is blinking.
Ash silhouetted clouds,
partially veil fleet crowds,
that glow emerald green,
until so suddenly unseen.
The burgundy rose, dreams,
as it's taken to dark extremes.
Beautiful, flickering skies,
in a world of time demise.
The whirling fireflies play
in huge shadows of day.
Starlight on yellow petals,
in perfume, where it settles.

So enchanting Evelyn. As I lay in the heart of Winters cold arms, this poem lightens in me the dreams of summer I long for. And the imagery is heavenly!
