I almost came close
My heart couldn't take
the pain, not anymore
so broken and ashamed
the hurt will take the blame
love would accept me
and it didn't let go

Love held on tightly
and it didn't let go

I almost let go
I was there in the
middle of a breakdown
didn't know it

Heartache nearly would have me
problems lengthened massively
I look to love as the enemy
can't feel my heart
Found myself in much perplexity
I can not live like
yesterday didn't exist
I wanna be one with the sky
I'm on the ledge preparing to fly
let the wind dry the tears
I shall cry
Loves holding on for dear life
All I wanna do, Close my eyes
Glass was half empty tonight
but Loves holding on for dear life

I couldn't see the sun just yesterday
dark clouds formed to keep it
from shining through
but, love held on tightly
And it didn't let go
