Skin Grafting

Rating: 4.0

You can take from your shin
And put on your chin;
As long as it rhymes it's the same.

You can take from your hip
And put on your lip;
As long as it rhymes it's the same.

You can take from your rear
And put on your ear;
As long as it rhymes it's the same.

You can take from your toes
And put on your nose;
As long as it rhymes it's the same.

You can take from your bum
and put on your thumb;
As long as it rhymes it's the same.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem was written years ago;
just how many, I don't know.

I have personal experience with skin grafting. I have skin at the base of my thumb, base of middle finger, and base of small finger which came from my thigh. For the reason why, see my poems 'Big Bang Memory', 'Awakening from Surgery' and 'Big Bang Memory version 2'.

The picture shows the spot on my leg (the part with no hair) where skin was removed and grafted onto my hand.
