Skid Row Poem by Daniel Miltz

Skid Row

If at any point you ever
Considered what limbo
Seemed to be, it's here
Purgatory
A state of eternal punishment
And damnation
The most reduced you can go
Don't feel anything
Don't need anything
Don't love anything
Can't stand anything
Nothing
At the end
Anything that these helpless creatures did
They have paid here
On failed to remember roads
Among the castaway and drifters
All to hell, looking for nothing
If they don't start
Looking for something
