Skating On Thin Ice Poem by Dorsey Baker

Skating On Thin Ice

Better think before you
say what you say
Better think before you
do what you do
because my friend
you're skating on thin ice
skating on thin ice
you've stretched the rope
and its hanging long
you had better change the lyrics
before you sing that song
because my friend
you're skating on thin ice
skating on thin ice
you put the pedal to the metal
put the car in drive
you drive so fast
you're lucky to be alive
better slow down
you'd better hesitate
before you skate
because my friend
you're skating on thin ice
on thin ice!
