Sixty Years Together Poem by Ray Hansell

Sixty Years Together

Sixty year's together
Sixty year's never apart
Sixty year's of loving
Each other with all their heart

Sixty year's of sharing
Their lives together
Year after year after year
Life always getting better

Sixty year's of caring
For his lovely wife
Sixty year's of closeness
Loving her his whole life

So maybe it was fitting
That when the time had come
They would die together
Holding hands as one
