Six Sorted Haikus Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Six Sorted Haikus

Rating: 5.0

Bumble bee, let's play
Flying flower to flower
But today, don't sting

Pretty white liar
Got burned on a house of cards
She will survive it

You ring the church's bells
I'll get hold of a priest
Married we will be

The dog is asleep
Has taken over the bed
Dreaming of flowers

Woke up this morning
Going to the city--
Hoping to find you

Goofing with a friend
With cigarettes and booze
Hope to die very soon

Great lessons and intricacies of life are wonderfully depicted in these lovely haikus. Beautifully crafted.

I agree with Richard and Asim. These are all very good and each could stand on its own.. Great work!

Every single haiku stands on its own and it has a complete story in it. Bumble bees with a purpose flying over the house of cards and beginning of new chapter in life with new morning and towards the end enticing like sunset, AWESOME 5*****

Six extraordinary haikus! Absolutely magnificent! LeeAnn, just wondering why you chose to include all of them in one poem. Instead of,6 separate poems. Each one is a winner!
