I am sitting on a rugged bench, on a sun-smitten day, at the seaside,
where aquamarine clouds touch the mountains, and the chartreuse waves wash the shoreline.
Today the sea is unusually calm, the sky is astoundingly blue,
No indication of the turbulent storm in my heart,
It's a sublime picturesque morning!
My dog is playing with his ball,
Fluffy, cute dog, like a ball of wool,
No cares in the world can overwhelm him,
His eyes are on the red ball he is determined to reach.
I am alone, but not really.
I am never alone!
Someone's tender eyes are caressing my body,
Someone's gentle hands are touching my hands,
A sense of completeness, a feeling of ultimate devotion, covers me.
I wandered around the world, from one corner to the other, in pursuit of the part which
completes my incomplete self,
Like those wandering clouds, sometimes peaceful azure, sometimes raging red,
And then finally pouring into a torrent,
Finally found the missing link!
The beach answers many problems. A lovely poem. So pleased you found the missing link.
