The immorality of it all
the corporations making profits
of a peoples struggles
making coin ahead of those who decide
to be warm or to eat
over privileged fat cats on boards
government backed parasites
making luxury over sufferance
civilisation in not so great
democracy has failed
the decay of humanity is human
the lazy, the greedy, the selfish
all prawns in the chess board of a world
in which the game is rigged
power leads to temptation
of which greed follows
we all live in an immoral time
where corporations make the decision
if we live or die
