Sisterhood Poem by Ray Hansell

Sisterhood

She shed her tears
When her sister passed away
She was very lonely
On that very tragic day

Her heart had been broken
By an unbearable wound
That's always what happens
When someone you love dies too soon

Pictures of her sister placed on a table
As memories fiil her head
Remembering so many things
Recalling things they said

It seems that's all she's left with
Are just the memories
To keep them locked inside her head
So, every now and then she can see

Pictures from her childhood
Memories from her past
Safely locked away
In her mind to forever last
