Siren Sitting Upon Wave Washed Rocks Poem by Terence George Craddock

Siren Sitting Upon Wave Washed Rocks

Rating: 5.0

sitting upon wave washed rocks
sea salt spray embraces engulfs us
washes over us enfolds enraptures us
in arms sea salt waves live vast lives
washed out with restless current tides
washed out with breathless current tides
but never drowned we breathe in waves
our essence is not lost among waves

released before journey ends
released before soul journey ends
such dangers have no power over us
we are siren written in heart heard depths
we are soul beached in cold ocean depths
we are sea spray green blue hazel eyes
