Sins Are Like Snakes Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Sins Are Like Snakes

Rating: 5.0

Sins are like snakes
that I hid inside a casket
and hid it inside my body.

My mind and intellect
knows the sin, hiding in me.

I want God's best more than
I want the temporary
pleasures outside His will.

Sin feeds a dangerous cycle
of misplaced desire,
defiance, disobedience
and destruction in my life.

When I give in to sin,
I sign up for eventual suffering.

It will eventually end in weeping.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Yes, Dr. Tony Brahmin, sin is a snake hidden in the body. It's a threat to our peace. It distracts us from God
