Rebecca I was listening to a young singer-songwriter. It was not so much her words but her tone that made me imagine what she was feeling. And I found that her melodies haunted me and kind of seeped in like a mild poison, and I started to realize that she was reminding me of my younger self. And what I can tell people of her generation is that all the self doubt and disappointment just makes you try harder, and gradually you come to form your own identity. I think as I age, I have more to say. Thanks for being such a consistent reader and commenter! I really appreciate your feedback.
