I am sleeping with the proverbial flying carpet of love,
And i am drinking the proverbial fire balls from heaven;
But life has come a very long way to me,
And i have been thinking of you since yesterday.
I am eating from the proverbial iron horse of fame,
And like two wave loaves of bread baked with salt;
But i am now like a forgotten sheaf from a field.
Love is just like that at times and,
I have to get this water away from my side;
And to reap the harvest with an ox and a donkey!
The odds have taken m eso long on this love and,
I want to keep this vision going all the time;
But like the owner and his son who required a test,
For i have been thinking of you since yesterday.
