This is simply beautiful in the double sense of the beauty of truth and the beauty of appearance. But I like the way you pause from stating the lofty to showing an appreciation for a two cup fit for a lady. It also shows in the witty remark I WANT TO BE A NICE MAN. The fact that you write a reasonably long poem on the subject of simplicity shiows that simplicity is neither simplistic nor fundamentalist. It is rather a recognition of the WHOLENESS OF THINGS and a plea for making ample for room for everything that belongs and coheres. This to me is the real Americana, and it wipes the slate clean of all the trash-talk of TV and politics.
