Fondly lifting and cuddling me in her arms I was carried to her solitary home To begin my life anew as her friend and guard With love and freedom and life made frolicsome.....captivating expression. Beautiful poem on love and freedom is astutely executed. Thanks for sharing.

Nook And Fluke (Being inspired by Valsa George’s poem From Nook To Fluke) Happy in my concentric life, Valsa says it was a nook, A fluke brought paper and pen And I wrote a book!

Beautiful poem elaborating about the saga of some helpless pups. They await eagerly for adoption in a loving family. I love animals. Very good and uplifting write.

A great ending for our wee pup of dubious beginnings. And I love the last word happy and free 'frolicsome'

This is so touching, I nearly cried but i held back lol. I love that this tells the tale of how a magnitude of dogs have lived and from their perspective! I wonder what happened to the mother dog and if shes still alive even. I hope that reading this will make more people consider adopting shelter dogs. They've had such long journey's it would be nice if they could all be as lucky as the dog in this poem. I also loved the break in this poem, the change in perspective from a third party narrator to a first person canine narrator. Honestly I cant say enough about this poem, its beautiful. So I'm adding this to favorites ^^ ~Nika
