we may be alive for a years but we live our soul only for few minuets...........an brilliant and breathtaking piece mam thank you so much for sharing
So nice of you standing as the famous Rip Van Winkle and seeing things anew! As usual you are fabulous in presenting this lovely poem, Valsa! Enjoyed each para '!
A lovely poem. Where does time go? Sometimes it feel like it drags other time it goes so quickly. One day we are young the next looking at the young.
a v sweet poem with a hidden truth of where we stand today leaving behind all the good old times, the changing times have changed us too....njoyed every line in your poem as always
The nostalgia in this poem is giving the reader a real good feeling. Sometimes I feel like the eighties were just yesterday. and yes there we stand as Rip Van WInkle. Nice poem, well written
'Rip Van Winkle' recreated is here bestowed with better eye sight and sounder mind.. The slumber of yours was sublime with a sweet shade off weariness. A wonderful poem that excels in its poetic splendour, Madam Valsa.
How the change is going on in fashion, costume, and manner of the present society is being astutely and incisively depicted. So touching. Nice penmanship. I quote..How in place of shacks, sky scrapers stand How the serene villages into bustling habitats made How the frilled frocks into jeans and shirts changed How the old familiar faces have disappeared... Beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing.
